2026 TEC Annual Meeting
Taylor Electric’s annual meeting was held on Tuesday, June 23rd at the Centennial Community Center in Stetsonville. A packed house enjoyed a chicken dinner prior to the meeting.
Discussion was held regarding the 2025 election after it was determined that ballots had been unintentionally omitted from the count due to being left in a ballot bag. The inclusion of those ballots altered the final results of the director election. Chairman Brian Hallgren and Taylor Electric Cooperative Legal Counsel, Jessica Shrestha, were present at the meeting to explain the process that was followed in addressing the discovery of the uncounted ballots and the subsequent recount.
Members voted to pass three bylaw amendments and Don Everhard, Paul Woods and Chuck Zenner were all re-elected to another 3-year term. Finance Manager Patricia Nelson gave the 2025 financial report and Line Superintendent Wade Matyka gave the operations report. CEO Ken Ceaglske gave a presentation on Winter Storm Fern and the effects it had on the grid and electric consumption. Each member received a $10 electric bill credit and the door prize winner for the $100 bill credit was Kathy Jochimsen, $50 bill credits went to Pete Henrichs, Dave Manecke, Wendy Sackmann and Jack Strebig.
